Christmas Food Baskets Because of the generosity of a lot of people and local businesses, in 2007 we were able to give 120 local families food for the holiday season. Our goal for 2008 is 140-150 baskets. The contents of each Basket consisted of a canned ham, fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, bread, canned goods, and many other food staples. Each Food Basket offers complete meals designed to feed a family of 4 for two to three days. The Milford Elks prepared and delivered the Food Baskets just before the holiday. December 19, 2008 we will be shopping and packing the baskets and on December 20, 2008 we will distributing the baskets. Everyone is invited to help.
